The ABC hit medical drama, Grey’s Anatomy, returns for its fifth season on September 25
Italian doctors object to “Grey’s Anatomy” and “ER”
A leading Italian medical group accuse a series of television programs with medical and hospital themes as “ER,” “House,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scrubs,” of getting so many details wrong.
Annalisa Silvestro, president of the National Federation of Medical Colleges, said “These programs are teaching viewers inaccurate views on medicine”. “They are spreading misinformation.”
RAI and Silvio Berlusconi’s Mediaset, the Italian broadcasters, do not plan to adjust their programming in response to the protests.
Good and bad news
Are Meredith and Derek back together in the new season? What do you think?
Well, the good news is that: yes, they’re back together!
Seriously? Seriously!
The bad news is they don’t have a clear understanding of what together means and they’ll be trying to figure out how being a mutually committed couple “works,” driving everybody around them crazy in the process.
The McDreamy house
Do you remember that as of forth season finale, Derek offered Meredith a beautiful plot of land for their dream house and Meredith offered him a beautiful floor plan made of candles? Do you? If not, please watch this:
Apparently, according to sources connected with the series, in the fifth season a lovely home that will be occupied by Dr. Derek Shepherd will appear. Is it this one?
Is Izzie back for good?
At least for now.
Despite rumors of Izzie leaving Seattle Grace, after Katherine Heigl criticized the material her character had been given over the past year, she was on the set earlier this week, continuing to film scenes for the upcoming season five.
Her complains became big news and critics ripped her off, however fans of the show protest against her transformation “from being something amazing to something we don’t even recognize.” long before she did.
Denny is back
Popular guest star Jeffrey Dean Morgan is on his way back to Grey’s Anatomy fifth season, as Denny Duquette.
After being diagnose with brain tumor, Izzie sees “visions” of Denny. Rumors say that brain tumor contracted by Dr. Stevens was indeed the plan for Heigl’s character to be eliminated in season five, with Denny resurfacing to welcome her to the afterlife.
ABC Entertainment chief Steve McPherson issued vague denials of a plan to eliminate Izzie, however Morgan already filmed his scenes, which are to air in the season premiere.
Is Grey’s Anatomy really going to kill Izzie?
